Cet atelier permettra de présenter et de discuter les résultats récents de la recherche sur (i) les objets d'étude comme le Soleil, le vent solaire, les magnétosphères et ionosphères de la Terre et des autres planètes, et l’héliosphère ; et, d’autre part, sur (ii) les processus physiques universels qui s’y déroulent comme la turbulence, reconnexion, dynamo, chocs, ondes plasma, etc. Ces domaines scientifiques, ainsi que leurs applications à la météorologie de l’espace, sont en effet l’objet de recherches très actives s’appuyant à la fois sur des analyses conjointes de données d’observation in-situ et en télédétection, au sol et dans l’espace, et sur des simulations numériques.

This workshop will present and discuss recent results of research conducted on (i) astrophysical objects such as the Sun, the solar wind, the magnetospheres and ionospheres of the Earth and other planets, and the heliosphere; and, on the other hand, on (ii) the universal physical processes such as turbulence, reconnection, dynamo, shocks, or plasma waves, that take place in these environments. These scientific fields, and their applications to space weather, are indeed the subject of very active research based both on joint analyses of in-situ and remote sensing observations, on the ground and in space, and on numerical simulations.
